At 99PLUZ, we’re not looking for someone who simply posts content. We’re looking for someone who can build communities, spark conversations, and keep people coming back to our platforms every day.
This is a specialist role. Your primary responsibility will be growing and managing our communities on X (Twitter) and TikTok. You will also work closely with our Social Media Manager and wider content team to support campaigns, engagement, and audience growth across Instagram and Facebook whenever required.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (X & TikTok)
• Lead the growth and community-building efforts on X (Twitter) and TikTok.
• Create conversations that drive engagement and audience participation.
• Host and moderate Twitter/X Spaces.
• Identify trends early and turn them into engaging content opportunities.
• Engage daily with followers, creators, influencers, and online communities.
• Develop strategies that increase audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
Supporting Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to support campaigns across Instagram and Facebook.
• Assist with community management and audience engagement when required.
• Contribute creative ideas that improve overall social media performance across all platforms.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
• Has proven experience growing communities on X (Twitter) and/or TikTok.
• Have hosted successful Twitter/X Spaces.
• Have managed viral social media campaigns.
• Have worked with a media, entertainment, or digital brand.
• Have experience using AI-powered content tools.
• Understands internet culture, trends, memes, and audience behaviour.
• Has excellent written communication skills.
• Knows how to build conversations—not just publish content.
• Is proactive, creative, and full of ideas.
• Understands analytics and how to grow engagement organically.
• Is passionate about entertainment, news, music, sports, and Nigerian pop culture.
