As we enter Phase Two of our growth, we are expanding our social media team and looking for someone who can help us create engaging video content and street interviews that capture real public opinions and conversations.
This role is ideal for someone who understands Nigerian internet culture, enjoys asking bold questions, and can create engaging social media videos.
Role Overview
We are looking for a video content creator who can also host street interviews and produce short-form social media content.
The selected candidate will help bring 99Pluz conversations to life through video storytelling and public engagement.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
• Conduct street interviews and public opinion videos on trending topics
• Create short-form video explainers around cultural, political, and social issues
• Shoot and edit engaging social media videos
• Contribute creative ideas for viral and engaging content formats
• Stay updated with Nigerian trends and online conversations
• Help translate major blog discussions into visual content
The role requires someone comfortable speaking to people, asking questions, and presenting ideas clearly on camera.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Is confident speaking on camera
• Understands Nigerian social media culture and trending topics
• Has experience shooting and editing short videos
• Is creative and able to develop engaging content ideas
• Is comfortable approaching people for interviews
• Has an active social media presence
Candidates based in Lagos are strongly preferred due to easier access to public street interviews.
Equipment & Support
While candidates should have basic recording capabilities, the company will also support the role with necessary production resources where required.
Compensation
Compensation will depend on experience and content delivery capability.
This role offers a monthly base pay, with additional opportunities tied to performance and content output.
