Great Adamz’s “Omahe” Climbs to No. 6 on iTunes African: Nigeria Chart, Peaks at No. 5

Northampton-based Afropop artist Great Adamz continues to make waves internationally as his latest single, “Omahe,” climbs to No. 6 on the iTunes African: Nigeria chart, following a peak at No. 5 just days after its release.

The latest milestone adds to an impressive run for the Northampton artist, who has continued to build a strong presence across the UK and international Afropop scene. Omahe is also making an impact on the wider Nigerian iTunes chart, currently sitting at No. 11 on the Music: Nigeria chart, after reaching a peak of No. 8.

Released as a softer and more reflective offering, Omahe explores themes of love, joy, spirituality and human connection. The record carries a warm, peaceful energy, while its accompanying visual features African children dancing, playing and enjoying moments of genuine happiness — reinforcing the song's message of innocence, community and togetherness.

The chart movement is another notable milestone for Great Adamz, who has steadily established himself as one of Northampton's prominent Afropop exports while developing an audience beyond the UK.

His recent collaboration Shake with Romanian producer Manuel Riva reached No. 1 on the Music Week Black Music Top 20 Club Chart and surpassed one million Audiomack plays, adding to a growing list of career achievements.

From Northampton to audiences across Africa and beyond, Omahe represents another chapter in Great Adamz's evolving sound — one rooted in love, culture, positivity and connection.

And with the record continuing to climb the Nigerian charts, the Northampton artist is proving once again that his reach extends far beyond his hometown.
